Autani Wins Prestigious DOE L-Prize Competition for Innovative Lighting Controls

COLUMBIA, MD, November 17, 2023 — Autani, a leading provider of smart building automation and energy management solutions, has been named a winner in the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) L-Prize competition. The DOE’s L-Prize aims to accelerate breakthroughs in next-generation commercial lighting.

The Department of Energy’s Lighting Prize (L-Prize) is designed to advance the U.S. clean energy economy for next-generation LED lighting, encouraging innovators to engage in advanced lighting system development that leads to transformative designs, products, and impact. The competition will award a total of $12.2 million in cash prizes across three distinct phases: Concept, Prototype, and Manufacturing and Installation.
